Blepharoplasty

The appearance of drooping eyelids or constant bags under your eyes can add years to the appearance of your face or even cause trouble seeing. With Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery the excess skin and fat around the eyes are removed to eliminate puffiness or bags under the eyes. After this surgery, you can expect to look younger, rejuvenated, and refreshed.

Procedure
An upper blepharoplasty usually takes 2 hours, if both upper and lower eyelids are done together the procedure will take about 4 hours. The MD uses local anesthesia with conscious sedation. We promise you will experience comfort and safety during your procedure.

Recovery
Recovery from blepharoplasty is usually unremarkable. Swelling and bruising peak at 48 to 72 hours after the surgery with the majority disappearing within 7 to 10 days.
